International Day of Women and Girls in Science: Presenting Dr Nuria Kotecki

#February11 is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. At Domain Therapeutics, we are proud to support this initiative and are committed to empower leadership of women bringing diversity of thought and new perspectives in science. We celebrate the extraordinary achievements and contributions of exceptional women like Dr. Nuria Kotecki, from Jules Bordet Institute, Brussels, Belgium.

Dr. Nuria Kotecki has participated in several clinical trials from Phase I to later phases, including the recent trial of Domain TherapeuticsEP4R antagonist, DT-9081, in Phase I, where as one of the expert clinical investigators she is making an important contribution determining the safety and preliminary efficacy of this GPCR-targeting drug candidate. This is a clear example of women’s dedication to advancing the healthcare industry by creating medicines to improve patient outcomes and lives.

We can and we must do more to expand knowledge and inspire young women to become scientists as they can truly change the world and make it a better place. Let’s help them to become inspiring examples of future generations and embrace the unique attributes that only women can bring to the world of science.

Thank you to Dr. Nuria Kotecki! You are a true inspiration to us all.
