MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2021 (HORIZON-MSCA-2021-PF-01-01) Development of on Target Drug Residence Times Assays

Development of on Target Drug Residence Times Assays

DOMAIN THERAPEUTICS is a leading biopharmaceutical company in the field of G Protein-Coupled Receptors (GPCRs), one of the most important classes of drug targets. We are dedicated to consolidating this position by developing a high-value pipeline of innovative drug candidates. To achieve this, we will continue to focus on identification of new class of treatments by leveraging our expertise, innovative approaches and proprietary technologies as well as our strong company culture.

  • A stimulating scientific position within a high-potential innovative biotech company.
  • The opportunity to work in a science-driven, dynamic, humansized, respectful and professional environment.
  • A challenging scientific and business growth in which you get to bring your knowledge and skills.
  • Varied contacts inside the company, the biotech/pharma sector and the scientific world.
  • Living in Strasbourg at the heart of Europe, seat of the European Parliament, in a very dynamic and attractive environment (50 000 students from all over the world)

Domain therapeutics is looking for a post-doctoral researcher, to co-apply for a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship.

Within its Biology and Immunology Departments, Domain Therapeutics is actively looking for a highly motivated and creative Post-Doc with expertise in molecular, cellular biology, and pharmacology research to take a leading role supporting the development of assays to determine the residence time of drugs (New Chemical Entities (NCEs) or New Biological Entities (NBEs)) on various GPCRs.

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to exploit several technologies (not limited to the proprietary BRET-based technology) to characterize the binding kinetics of drugs on GPCRs. The objective of the project is to guide the design and the selection of the best drug candidates with the analysis of the drug residence time which is correlated to in vivo efficacy. The post-doc will work in close proximity within the biology teams.

More specifically, the responsibilities will be to :

  • Actively design the strategy and conduce the development, and implementation of experimentations in close interaction with the members of the project team(s).
